Approach and execution

What I did

Purpose

The platform streamlines service operations by centralizing customer profiles, asset histories, service orders, scheduling, technician work logs, parts and labor tracking, invoicing, and reporting workflows.

Role

Kody authored the phased roadmap and design system and continues to develop the codebase—delivering the Next.js and Tailwind web client, FastAPI endpoints backed by Supabase and Prisma, QuickBooks integrations, and an Expo mobile client with sign-in, dashboard, order list, and detailed order views.

Design Principles & Tools

The design system prioritizes neutral, accessible UX with modular components such as intake wizards, status steppers, and work-log modules. Supabase handles authentication and session management while continuous integration tests safeguard reliability across services.

Outcome & Status

Development is in progress. Key achievements include authenticated navigation, dashboard and order management features, a deployed API, and consistently high automated test coverage. Upcoming work centers on offline support, real-time updates, and additional integrations.
